FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY The Paul Kupchok Wildlife Rehabiliation Center Educational tours for families and groups of less than 25
Tour the WILDLIFE CENTER!
Watch a LIVE BIRD SHOW!
See ANIMALS UP CLOSE!
Imagine standing just a few feet from a majestic Andean condor or inches from a regal great horned owl! Most people never have that opportunity, but at our Paul Kopchok Wildlife Rehabiliation Center, thousands of people are having the experience of a lifetime every year.
Watch our free-roaming peacocks shake their tailfeathers or listen to our raven's call. Do your kids love Harry Potter's snowy owl, Hedwig? Then don't miss our two rare snowy owls, as well as brightly plumaged Tragopan pheasant and Caracara, the national bird of Mexico. There's always something cool to discover at our Wildlife Center. Meander along our woodland paths and you'll find permanantly injured raptors in large, naturalistic habitiats.
Dedicated to environmental awareness, our Wildlife Center features large display and flight cages. Detailed signage not only teaches you about the animals' natural habitats, but also tells you the tales of how they found their way to Green Chimneys. Whether it's an American bald eagle rescued from a deadly oil spill or an endangered peregrine falcon with a damaged beak, you'll find all of our animals treated with respect and love.
Group tours, of from five to twenty people, of our Wildlife Center are available for a nominal fee, which supports our work. Our educational tours are led by experienced guides and student tour guide assistants. Tours include a live bird demonstration, fabulous photo opportunities and a chance to get up close to raptors.
