Donor’s Monthly Gifts Help Sustain Green Chimneys Programs
February 15, 2022Barbara first became involved with Green Chimneys in 2016, when she received an issue of The Gazette in the mail. “I was fascinated!” she says. “I support several other causes related to animals, and I knew I wanted to help. I became committed to Green Chimneys after reading about your mission to improve the lives of special needs children. The fact that it includes rescued animals by pairing them with the children to help them was particularly interesting to me.”
The following year, Barbara asked about visiting in person and came for a tour of the Farm & Wildlife Center at our Brewster campus. “I took pictures and videos of all the animals! It was a wonderful experience.”
Barbara’s desire to further support Green Chimneys led her to enroll in our Sustaining Givers program to make regular monthly donations through automatic billing of her credit card, instead of a one-time gift. Providing a recurring gift was an easy and convenient way for Barbara to increase her giving and compound her impact.
“I’m not a wealthy woman, but I give what I can! Green Chimneys provides a safe and nurturing environment for our special children and rescued animals. Reading about the progress at Green Chimneys makes me feel proud to be a sustaining donor,” said Barbara.
Please consider joining Barbara and become a Sustaining Giver. Your recurring gifts will provide a stable and reliable income that, in turn, will help Green Chimneys dedicate more time to innovating our programs and raising awareness of our mission.
