Quality time in the great outdoors provides the perfect chance for you to learn from — and with — each other.
Enjoy a fall day of challenging and educational father-son activities that will provide opportunities to learn from — and with — each other.
Participate in favorite outdoor pastimes and discover new skills while spending a special day on our 350-acre Clearpool forest campus.
Due to county and state mandates, and in following CDC guidelines, we participants must arrive wearing masks. Activities are planned to be socially distant. Further details are outlined when registering.
As a nonprofit organization steeped in educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs, Green Chimneys understands that now more than ever children and families need opportunities to reconnect with nature, stay active, and socialize. This event is part of the Clearpool Weekend Nature Series which provides families several ways to experience 350 acres of natural woodlands, test new skills, and have fun. We’ve also launched a series of weekly programs for children. Learn more about Fall Programs at Clearpool
Crowned the best for falconry in medieval times, gyrfalcons were once reserved for kings. As the largest falcon in the world, with exquisite plumage ranging from bright white to deep charcoal, gyrs are revered for their powerful skill of flight. Their long wings make hunting waterfowl from 3,000-feet-high a feasible and fantastical feat. This falcon was flown in the sport of falconry for several years.
