DASA Training Workshop
New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act (also known as The Dignity Act or DASA) seeks to provide the State’s public elementary and secondary school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.
DASA Training for Education Professionals
Effective December 31, 2013, all applicants for New York State Teacher Certification are required to complete six clock hours of coursework or training in accordance with Article 2 Sections 10-18 of the Education Law. Green Chimneys is one of several training providers approved by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
DASA TRAINING is in person.
Choose from one of the following upcoming DASA Training Workshop dates which are open to the public:
- Jan 19, 2023 – 9am-4pm
- March 16, 2023 – 9am-4pm
- May 25, 2023 – 9am-4pm
The DASA Training Workshop is $75;
advance registration is required.

Cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must communicate your cancellation to Ed Dalpe at least 24 hours prior to the workshop.
Upon completion of the workshop: Green Chimneys will report your completion electronically to NYSED. Check your TEACH account to see if the workshop requirement has been met. For more information, please visit the NYSED Office of Training Initiatives website.
