Whether you’re sending your little one to camp for the first time or trying to find the right place for your pre-teen, you want your child to beam when asked “How did you spend last summer?”
Green Chimneys has a 70-year history of introducing youth to eye-opening experiences with animals, horticulture, and the great outdoors. With roots like this, it’s only natural that summer camps place an emphasis on animal & wildlife interaction and outdoor discovery.
From the self-esteem that grows from helping to care for an animal to increased awareness of environmental issues, we know the great things that come from connecting with the natural environment.

Crowned the best for falconry in medieval times, gyrfalcons were once reserved for kings. As the largest falcon in the world, with exquisite plumage ranging from bright white to deep charcoal, gyrs are revered for their powerful skill of flight. Their long wings make hunting waterfowl from 3,000-feet-high a feasible and fantastical feat. This falcon was flown in the sport of falconry for several years.
